How do I contact the Hannah Lofts leasing office?

How do I get to campus?

Although the walk to the MSU campus is just five minutes, we don’t want you to have to walk in the cold. At Hannah Lofts, we have a shuttle dedicated to taking our residents to and from MSU — call the office or ask for our most up-to-date shuttle schedule. For added convenience, our shuttle also takes residents to Grand River Avenue.

What floor plans do you offer?

Hannah Lofts was designed just for students, and we have the perfect fit for you. We offer more than 20 floor plans ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments and townhomes, so you can find your ideal setup.

What is the process to match roommates?

If you’re looking for a roommate, fill out the roommate-matching questionnaire online when you sign your lease. We will use that information to match you and your future roommate. If you already have a roommate selected, we can help sort out the details with that, too!

Do you have an on-site laundry facility?

Each apartment is furnished with its own washer and dryer.

What lease terms do you offer?

We offer 12-installment leases, generally running from the end of August through the end of July, along with a few short-term lease options. Contact the leasing office for details.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes, the security deposit is $200.

When is rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of each month with a grace period until the 4th day of the month. Rent is considered late beginning at 9 a.m. on the 6th of each month. Please note that late fees will start to accrue beginning on the 6th.

Where is Hannah Lofts located?

Hannah Lofts is conveniently located just half a mile from the Michigan State University campus at 2929 Hannah Blvd., East Lansing, MI 48823. We are also walking distance to the Hannah Plaza shopping center.

What does rent include?

For your convenience, rent includes high-speed wireless internet and trash. Additionally, you will have access to all of our amazing amenities and on-site staff.

Is on-site parking available?

Yes, parking is available. You can purchase a covered parking space for $50 per month, or park in our non-covered spaces for free.

What is an individual lease?

An individual lease is a per-bed lease. You sign a lease for a bed in the apartment and share common areas with roommates. This allows you to live with roommates without having to worry about whether they’re going to pay on time.

Do you allow subleasing?

We do allow subleasing or reassignment. For specific information, please call or come by the office anytime, and we will be happy to provide you with details.

Do you have a maintenance staff?

Yes, we have maintenance available during office hours, as well as 24-hour emergency maintenance service.

Do I have to be a student to live here?

While Lansing Community College and Michigan State students make up a sizable percentage of our residents because of our proximity to campus, you do not need to be an LCC or MSU student to be a resident of Hannah Lofts in East Lansing.

How do I pay rent?

You’re welcome to pay at the leasing office during business hours by check or money order, or you can pay online!

I’m an international student — what do I need to sign my lease?

International students can apply with a qualified cosigner or can pay a deposit equal to two rental installments. See the leasing office for more details.

How do I apply for an apartment?

You can easily complete the entire leasing process online by clicking here. Fill out and submit your application, your guarantor’s application, and your roommate preferences form. You can even complete the lease for your new apartment online! We are also available on site if you wish to visit us to apply in person.
